Terms and Conditions 

 

These terms and conditions apply to all contracts entered into between 1996 Clothing and its customers. 

Terms of Agreement 

This website is operated by 1996 Clothing. When you use the website to order with 1996 Clothing, theses Terms and Conditions constitute the legally binding agreement between 1996 Clothing and the customer. The customer is responsible to carefully review these Terms and Conditions before processing an order with 1996 Clothing. By placing an order your understanding and acceptance of our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to the Terms and Conditions below, you should not use our service or purchase any items. We have the right to modify our Terms and Conditions, so please review them periodically. You can review the most current version of the Terms and Conditions at any time on this page. 

Our store is hosted on IONOS. They provide 1996 Clothing with the online e-commerce platform that allows 1996 Clothing to sell products and services to you the customer. 

Pricing 

All prices are quoted in pound sterling (£). Prices may be subject to change without notice, but we will always inform you of any price changes prior to processing your order. Any pricing structures seen may differ if your order requires delivery or express delivery.

This is because sometimes our suppliers change prices without warning, and we are not able to update prices instantaneously. You will be fully informed of your price or change in price before your order is confirmed. This may be after payment. We have the rights to cancel any order at any time. 

All deliveries are charged to a UK address. If your postcode is outside standard delivery zones, please note that you may have to pay extra delivery at a later stage when we know the total coat of the order. This extra charge may be added after your initial payment, due to change in weight of delivery for example. 

If after payment, a pricing error or anomaly is made apparent we maintain the right to cancel any order. If this situation occurs the customer will be contacted and informed of the mistake in writing, and we will address all options to give you the best service. 

Payment terms 

We accept all major credit and debit cards. We also accept payment by bank transfer. Orders will not be processed until payment has cleared. 

Payments for goods ordered by the customer shall be made when placing the order and if payment has not been paid items will not be sent. 

You understand that you're content, may be transferred unencrypted and involve transmissions over various networks. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks. You agree not to reproduce, sell, copy, duplicate, resell or exploit any portion of the service we provide without written permission and consent from 1996 Clothing.  

 

Orders 

Once your payment has been received, you will receive visual proof of your order to check carefully. Once your payment has been received you have 24 hours to cancel your order or make changes if order is wrong. After 24 hours from the time you ordered the item we will start to process the order and although we try and accommodate changes or cancellations, we can’t guarantee that we will complete them and you may be liable for the full order price once products have been customised. 

Any mistakes not brought to 1996 clothing attention within the 24 hour period will be your responsibility. 


Online & Offline ordering 

We order blank clothing, garments and products from wholesaler distributors, and then customise these items. All sizes and colours of items are not under our control, we can not be held accountable for colour variations from on screen colours to product colours, colour variations between the garments, nor can we be held responsible for sizing issues. 

If a specific colour or size is not available, with orders, we may swap the garment or product for an alternative in a similar colour and style and size, in order to fulfil your order on time. By accepting our terms and conditions, you understand, agree and accept any changes we make in the fulfilment of your order with no rights of refund. 

Sometimes the wholesaler and distributor may send 1996 Clothing faulty products within the full batch, or do not send 1996 Clothing the correct amounts or sizes, which is completely out of our control. This can mean the production and delivery may be delayed resulting in your order taking longer than expected. You understand this supply chain problem and accept that it is beyond our controls, and accept these terms. We will aways endeavour to contact you if production or delivery may be delayed. 

We will not take responsibility if you order the wrong size item or garment. We also won’t take responsibility for the damage of any garments/items due to misuse not following the correct care instructions. 

We also won’t take any responsibility for general wear and tear of the items/garments such as normal wear or ageing. By placing an order you accept these terms. 

We do our very best to manage Quality Controls.

Cancellations/Returns 

Cancellations may be subject up to 50% charge due to the fact that we may have already ordered stock, prepared the items, or sent the items out for delivery. Please note that we reserve the rights to a minimum charge of up to 50%. When paying for any order, you accept these terms and conditions in full. We will always do our best too minimise or avoid such charges where possible. 

In an event of finding a fault with the product or printing, simply inform us of a problem within 12 hours of delivery by email, or by filling out our contact form and we will advise you of the correct way of returning the order. Depending on the fault and issue with the order, we may request for you to ship the order back to 1996 Clothing using a trackable service. You agree to take on any charge that may occur when shipping an item back to 1996 clothing. 

 

Complaints 

We take complaints seriously, if you wish to make a complaint, please complete the contact form immediately and provide 1996 Clothing with your order number, email address and the reason for your complaint. 

You must also attach photos to help 1996 Clothing, further understand your complaint so we are able to take the necessary actions. 

We should be notified of any issues within 2 days of receiving the order up to a maximum of 14 days from delivery of the goods. 

 

Delivery 

At periods of seasonal high demands, during adverse weather conditions, delivery deadlines may be missed or delayed. If the delivery is not achieved for whatever reason we will not be responsible for refund of any form. We will attempt to recover costs and expenses from our delivery companies, but we cannot guarantee any delivery or refund in these instances. We will not be liable for any loss or expenses sustained arising from any delay or failure in the delivery of the goods. An email will be sent to yourself once item has been sent to the delivery company, we take no responsibility for loss or damage or delay to your order and we will not be responsible for refund of any item.  Please allow up to one week for items to be delivered from the date the despatched email has been sent. 

 

 

Privacy policy 

We are committed to the protection of personal data we process. For the purpose of completing an order, we will need to collect personal information from you. Personal information or any identifiable details supplied to 1996 Clothing means we can identify you and complete and ship your order. This can be anything from an order number to specific information, such as your address details, or telephone number. 

 

Data that may be captured about you could include, but is. Not limited to the following:

  • Name
  • Full address including postcode
  • Email
  • Telephone numbers
  • Date of Birth
  • Payment details

 

If you are placing an order with 1996 Clothing, we will require payment details unless you pay with a payment service provider such as PayPal. Any payment information provided will be captured securely. You do not have to provide any personal information to 1996 Clothing, but this will mean we will be unable to process your order, and fulfil our obligations to you. 

 

How we use your information

 

We only use your personal information provided by you for the following:

 

  • For 1996 Clothing to complete your orders, deliver your goods and to process any payments and refunds, including sharing information with 3rd party’s for delivering items.
  • To contact you in regards to any communication sent.

 

We will not disclose information about our customers. Any information disclosed to 1996 Clothing that is shared with any third-parties will be limited to only the data needed to carry out instructions to complete your orders, or delivery of your goods. 

 

Your data is protected during any online transmission. Any information given by you to 1996 Clothing is stored securely, will only be required when processing any orders and deliveries. 

 

We pay update out privacy policy when needed for legal and regulatory reasons. It is down to you to check our privacy policy from time to time. By continuing with your order you are agreeing with our privacy policy.
